I don’t have wool felt so am using the cheap stuff. Wool would be better but I was not going to buy some for such a little piece. I am continuing my stitch practice with the stem stitch (Embroidery Stitch Bible #5, page 43). I also found Stitch School by Primrose Design to be helpful with this one since I was initially confused by the directions. I remember doing this stitch when I was a kid but forgot how to do it.
